ELECTRIC GUITAR

Learning the electric guitar is an exciting journey into popular music. This instrument is an option for students who have completed one year of guitar tuition with us, or have basic guitar skills.

Lessons are taught in groups of 6-8 students. Suitable for age 7 and up.  Advanced students will have the opportunity to audition for our Rock Band and experience playing in a band.

Students are required to purchase their own electric guitar and portable amp. We do not have these to hire. Advice on what type of guitar  and amp would best suit your child can be given by one of our two specialist guitar tutors at the Papakura Music School.

Students need to purchase their own book and music stand. All books required are available for purchase from the music school.
